Your Bio
Hi, my name is Rick Wautier, and I live in Sardis, British Columbia, Canada. I became interested in photography in my teens with the purchase of a Yashica TL-Electro SLR camera. At that time my interests revolved around record photos of friends, family and vacations.
In the fall of 2003 I purchased my first Digital SLR camera an "Olympus E1". It was also around the same time that I joined the Abbotsford Photo Arts Club. I am not sure if it was the new camera or joining APAC or maybe a combination of both that rekindled my love for the art of photography.
My photographic interests are varied and I am always willing to try something new. I enjoy entering my work in club and outside competitions and have had my work published in calenders and brochures.
